Episode 273 : WTF Month - Dogteeth, Ghost Cats & Hungry Houses

WTF Month - Dogteeth, Ghost Cats & Hungry Houses

This week on Buried Cinema:

Continuing our WTF month when we watch movies that make you say "WTF?" we review two divisive films. Patrick has chosen Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos' 2009 film 'Dogtooth' about a couple who have raised their three adult children completely isolated from the outside world. In one of the film's most delightful scenes, a cat gets murdered with a pair of clipping shears. Speaking of dead cats, a ghost cat leads seven teenage girls to a country house where they are devoured one by one (by said house), in Tom's pick, Japanese director Nobuhiko Obayashi's 1977 avant-garde classic 'Hausu.'
