Buried Cinema goes Straight to Hell (and then continues on to Frogtown)

This week on Buried Cinema:

Regret. (Ribbit.) These two words adequately encapsulate this week's movies. Continuing with Nate's genre-blending comedy theme, Patrick chose (and then regretted choosing) the 1987 punk-cinema Spaghetti Western-murdering "Straight to Hell," directed by Alex Cox and starring Joe Strummer of The Clash, who should really just stick to making white reggae. Tom took this as a long-awaited opportunity to make everyone else watch one of his favorite cult classic B-movies, the 1988 post-apocalyptic desert road movie starring the late Rowdy Roddy Piper, "Hell Comes to Frogtown." Reactions go about as one would expect.
